Position: Full-Time, Part-Time, & Seasonal Positions Available
Overview:
As a back-of-house employee of Fifty West Brewing Company, the kitchen staff is vital to the success of our business. They carry the torch that keeps the building filled with happy customers; therefore, it their responsibility to help put quality food on every dish. People come back to Fifty West because our food is consistently delicious and timely. The kitchen staff’s role is to complete lunch and dinner service in a smooth and fluid fashion, whether keeping the kitchen stocked with clean dishes, preparing the food, or completing the necessary prep to keep the kitchen running. Each kitchen team member is an important part of our 50 West team.
Line Cook
- Complete brunch (Sunday) and dinner service, providing customer with best food possible
- Scratch Kitchen, that sources locally and seasonally with a rotating menu
- Prepare dishes in a timely, consistent fashion
- Always maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and take necessary tests to expedite kitchen cook times
- Assist with necessary prep work during slower times
- Team Player
- Positive Attitude
Prep Cook
- Responsible for production of several items, we are a seasonal scratch kitchen that utilize local produce and artisans
- Maintain order and speed in the kitchen by following recipes and completing major prep items in a timely manner
- Responsible for organization of the walk-in and dry storage
- Responsible for keeping a clean and organized station throughout and after the shift
- Team Player

Dish Service
- Primary responsibility is to wash dishes and keep dish room organized
- Other responsibilities include cleaning around dumpster and outside grease trap
- Assists the prep cook when dish volume is low
- Assist line cooks when needed
Requirements, Physical Skills & Training:
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day or longer
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
